French eco-friendly sneaker brand Veja has appointed Anthony Bunn as Sales Director for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Bunn, who previously worked for the Royer Group and VF Corp, succeeds Artaud Frenoy, who will now serve as Sales Director for Asia.
Anthony Bunn began his career in 1994 as a Sales Manager for Timberland. He later worked for Italian food group Ferrero and optical specialist L’Amy Group. In 2003, he joined Quiksilver’s technical division as Sales Director for Europe and the Middle East.
In 2009, Bunn moved to the American group VF Corp, where he spent eight years, notably as Director for France, Spain, and Portugal for the Timberland brand. In 2017, he joined French footwear specialist Royer as Managing Director of the junior fashion and retail division. Since 2020, Bunn has been working as an independent consultant for SMEs.
Founded in 2005 by Sébastien Kopp and François-Ghislain Morillion, Veja produces its sneakers in Brazil and recently opened a production unit in Portugal. The brand operates eight stores in France, Germany, the United States, and Spain and is available in nearly 3,000 retail outlets. Veja aims to achieve sales of €180 million by 2022, with over 4 million pairs of shoes sold worldwide.
