
Japanese global apparel retailer Uniqlo has announced that its third store in India will open at DLF Avenue, Saket in South Delhi district on 29 February 2020.
The new store will be spread over 21,500 square feet of retail space over 2 floors.
Uniqlo DLF Avenue Saket follows the brand’s successful debut in October 2019 at Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj and its second store in November 2019 at DLF CyberHub in Gurugram, and promises a new shopping experience for the area with its thoughtful designs, high-quality and functional products that are made for all.
Commenting on the opening of the store, Tomohiko Sei, CEO, Uniqlo India, said “Our journey in India has been very rewarding and we would like to offer our sincere gratitude to everyone who has made us feel welcome.”
Tomohiko further added “We are delighted with the positive feedback our products have garnered in the winter season and are now looking forward to opening our third store, Uniqlo DLF Avenue Saket, on the onset of the new Spring/Summer season. We are confident that our highly functional and high-quality apparels, which we call LifeWear, will be more accessible and loved by customers in Delhi.”
Uniqlo at DLF Avenue will feature brand’s LifeWear clothing which comes from the Japanese values of simplicity, quality and longevity for men, women, kids and babies.
This includes iconic Uniqlo products such as the innovative and functional AIRism innerwear, sun-blocking UV Cut range, DRY-EX activewear as well as products featuring premium fabrics like denim, premium linen and SUPIMA® cotton.
The store will also feature smart casualwear and officewear, including rayon blouses for women, easy care and super non-iron shirts for men, along with EZY bottoms for men and women and more.
Designed as an outward-facing showcase window, the two-storey glass façade will exhibit the latest seasonal offerings and promotions for visitors and passersby with an impactful multi-colour lighting display.
Integrated seamlessly with the design approach of DLF Avenue, the dynamic store entrance is anchored with a 33 ft. long LED ticker and a wall of digital screens that will be recognisable from across the mall atrium. The signature UT Corner boasts of stainless steel structures and a LED ticker running from one end to the other.
In addition, the new store continues Uniqlo India’s Good Neighbourhood Guide endeavour, highlighting the hidden gems of local neighbourhoods. This is also to showcase local community efforts and bring them to the attention of all our customers.
To celebrate the opening of the DLF Avenue Saket store, the brand will offer Rs. 500 off on a minimum purchase of Rs. 4,000 for downloading the Uniqlo app along with other opening offers.
The above offer will be valid for new and existing app users, and can only be availed at Uniqlo DLF Avenue Saket on the opening weekend and will begin from 10 February till 1 March.
