True, an investment and innovation firm, has announced that it has invested in Apparel Brands Limited (ABL), a UK-based business which sources, designs and distributes branded apparel and accessories to third parties.
Hush, Warpaint, and other well-known fashion and beauty businesses, as well as the fulfilment platform Huboo and the platform for workplace wellness Unmind, are just a few of the brands in which True has invested and assisted in the growth. Additionally, it works with well-known companies in the sector like Johnson & Johnson and Marks & Spencer.
The investment made by True in ABL will be used to hasten the growth and international expansion of its brands.
This advances the achievements of ABL. Since its beginning, the company has had rapid profitable growth, with a 3-year compound annual growth rate of 52%. ABL added Nicce’s licence to its portfolio of brands earlier this year, which already included Seafolly and Ed Hardy.
Peter Wood, Founder and CEO of ABL, commented, “I am delighted to partner with True. Their deep understanding of brands and the consumer and retail market, coupled with their vast experience in nurturing and scaling successful businesses, will be invaluable as we embark on our next phase of growth.”
