Famed for its philanthropic one-for-one model, footwear brand TOMS has collaborated with contemporary conceptual clothing retailer, & Other Stories for a capsule collection that is dropping on April 11. A part of its new Co-Lab series, this is TOMS’ first foray into garments and their ready to wear partnership will follow the same humanitarian route wherein the sale of every clothing item, equates to the contribution of one month of English language classes equivalent amount through the Magic Bus Women’s Scholarship Fund by & Other Stories.

This collection will be out in Spring and includes new interpretations of TOMS’ signature shoe styles, as well as select apparel pieces, like loose kimonos, terse striping, jackets and fluid dresses inspired from the relaxed Los Angeles lifestyle, particularly that laid-back Californian vibe of Venice Beach where TOMS is itself based and & Other Stories has just opened a new design studio.
“This co-lab collection captures a free-spirited aesthetic that is easy to make your own. It is an invitation to a strong and comfortable wardrobe filled with beautiful prints and vivid colours,” says Georgine Le Toqueux, Designer of & Other Stories.
Blake Mycoskie, Founder of TOMS asserted the importance of giving back to the society, saying, “I feel that & Other Stories has a firm point of view on their values and that is something that is vital to anyone that Toms collaborates with. We work with over 100 non-profits around the world who integrate our giving into their programs, offering deep local expertise and on-the-ground impact. We couldn’t do what we do without them.” His footwear brand has collaborated with other brands like Prabal Gurung, The Hill-Side, and the Keith Haring Foundation in the past as well.
