TM Lewin has faced challenges in recent years, but since its acquisition two years ago, the company has prioritised revitalising its online retail operations. Now, it has announced the introduction of international shipping.
The company recently declared the launch of international shipping services, including to destinations such as Australia and the US, aiming to meet the increasing demand for its high-quality products and British tailoring abroad. Expanding its customer base also comes with an expanded product range. This year, the brand collaborated with Community Clothing to produce a popular range of handmade rugby shirts. Its latest offerings include trend-driven pieces such as suiting, linen, and seersucker garments in various color combinations.
Brand Manager Lucy Steele said, “We’re excited to announce that TM Lewin now ships globally from our UK base. This expansion reflects the growing demand for our timeless menswear internationally. From our signature shirts to premium suiting, we’re committed to delivering quality pieces to new and existing customers worldwide.”
Despite facing significant challenges, including a second administration filing in 2022 due to evolving consumer preferences and ongoing pandemic impacts, TM Lewin has stabilised its trading since its relaunch in 2022 after being acquired by Petra Group.
Although the latest financial results, released a few months ago, indicate stabilised trading from the relaunch in 2022 until the end of that year, it’s challenging to fully assess the business’s performance without comprehensive figures or updates for 2023. However, the brand’s focus on expansion is evident from its recent international shipping initiative. This expansion mindset was also demonstrated last autumn when TM Lewin announced a new partnership with Gloucester Rugby, becoming the club’s Official Supplier of Formal Wear for a two-year period.
