In the city of Kozhikode, Kerala, the sportswear company Skechers opened its third location, increasing its retail presence in the south Indian market.
There is a wide selection of footwear for the whole family at the 1,503-square-foot store at the Lulu International Shopping Mall. In conjunction with the opening of the new store, the company held its seventh “Community Goal Challenge” from 17th-19th December, in which actor Malavika Mohanan participated.
Rahul Vira, CEO of Skechers Asia Pvt Ltd, commented on the launch in a statement, saying that the new store is perfect for the global brand in one of India’s expanding areas, with revenue and exposure to a huge population from both inside and outside the nation.
According to him, Kozhikode’s vibrant sports culture also made it the ideal location for the Community Goal Challenge, which embodies Skechers’ basic principles of fitness, community, and support for young athletes.
At the moment, Skechers operates 427 retail stores throughout India, including in Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, and Delhi. Additionally, the company sells retail through its website and well-known e-commerce platforms.
