Shopsy, a hyper-value platform under the Flipkart Group, has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing two million app downloads within two years of its launch. The platform has experienced robust growth in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, with approximately 60 per cent of its customer base coming from Tier-3 markets.
To commemorate its second anniversary, Shopsy organised a sale event that resulted in a doubling of units sold compared to regular days. The most popular products during the event included sarees, men’s T-shirts, and kurtis.
Kapil Thirani, the head of Shopsy, expressed his excitement about the growth, stating that Shopsy aims to empower Indians by providing them with a wide range of affordable goods at their fingertips. The platform strives to enhance accessibility throughout India and give customers freedom of choice.
Since its launch in July 2021, Shopsy has made available over 160 million products across 800+ categories to customers. It also offers delivery services to 19,000 pin codes nationwide, ensuring a wide coverage area for its customers.
