Shopify’s Shop Pay is now available to online shops who are not utilising the Shopify platform in response to demand from enterprise sellers.
Enterprise customers can add the capability by turning Shop Pay into a commerce component without having to totally rebuild their current commerce infrastructure. According to a news statement from Shopify, the solution is available to businesses based in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
Shop Pay outperforms other accelerated checkouts by at least 10%, according to a recent study by one of the big three consulting firms, with conversion rates up to 50% higher than those of a guest checkout.
Kaz Nejatian, VP Product and Chief Operating Officer of Shopify, commented on the significance of leveraging Shop Pay, stating, “Enterprises that do not take advantage of Shop Pay are essentially self-sabotaging. They are leaving money on the table.”
Nejatian emphasised that it is critical for large businesses to choose solutions that can enhance their top-line development without necessitating a total platform revamp in a highly competitive retail market where they are fiercely competing to gain customers.
