Nike, the US sportswear giant, has partnered with JD Sports and Zalando as its first European partners for its Connected Partnership loyalty programme.
The move will enable customers to access Nike products and experiences.
The Connected Partnership was first launched in November 2021 with US retailer Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Later on partnerships were formed with TopSport and Pou Sheng in China – and now JD Sports and Zalando have become Nike’s first partners from Europe.
Nike’s Connected Partnership helps customers shop third-party retailers to purchase select Nike member-only footwear and apparel when they opt to link their Nike membership account through the third-party retailer’s mobile app.
Notably, the JD Sports’ programme will be initially available in the UK. JD Sports is also the first retailer from Europe with physical stores to join the loyalty programme.
At Zalando, Nike’s Connected Partnership programme will start gradually across ten European countries, which will begin with Austria from this month.
