In this position, Parkinson will work with the product leadership team and executive board of Salomon to create and implement a brand creative strategy that spans all consumer touchpoints, platforms, channels, and geographical areas.
Nick is a really creative and imaginative person. During the intensely concentrated selection process, his worldwide experience in the fields the company aspires to win served as evidence, said Scott Mellin, global chief brand officer at Salomon who added, “I am convinced that Nick is the necessary fuel to realise our objectives across the entire consumer journey, having interviewed some of the finest creative minds in the industry.”
Parkinson recently oversaw the reactive creative approach for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris and has been instrumental in revamping top running brands. He started out in the UK as a graphic designer before relocating to Amsterdam in 2010 to work as an art director.

Parkinson went on to say that his family is engineers and that he enjoys using design to solve problems. Salomon can advance to the next level by using its rich history of athletes and performance and incorporating it into the realm of culture and sportstyle, he adds.
