Fashion and lifestyle e-commerce platform Myntra has revealed that it has created over 20,000 job opportunities through its partners to accommodate the expected surge in demand during its 22nd iteration of the End of Reason Sale (EORS), which begins on Saturday.
In order to handle the anticipated spike in demand, the new positions will assist last-mile deliveries, customer service, and logistical operations.
About 1,000 customer service representatives and 4,500 delivery partners are being hired. According to a corporate statement, women make up about 22 per cent of the new warehouse labour, performing tasks like sorting, grading, and packing throughout the fulfilment centres in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Delhi.
Creating more than 20,000 job openings for the 22nd edition of EORS to meet the expected increase in demand is an example of Myntra’s ‘Customer First’ commitment. The company is happy to provide delivery partners with choices for income augmentation in the largest edition of EORS, according to Myntra CHRO Govindraj M K.
