Centro Tex Limited, a leading apparel manufacturer and supplier in Bangladesh, has officially partnered with Give Bangladesh Foundation through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The alliance aims to promote sustainable livelihoods and inclusive growth among underserved populations across the country.
The collaboration will focus on two key initiatives. The first, Project Lorai’s Purbo Poshchim Campaign, seeks to provide sewing training to floating sex workers, equipping them with practical skills and resources to pursue dignified and sustainable livelihoods. The second, Project Pothchola, is a comprehensive program dedicated to supporting the children of sex workers by offering shelter, care, and access to education, helping them build brighter futures.
The MoU was signed at the Centro Tex office by Nicolas Anton, Chief Operating Officer of Centro Tex Limited, and Saifullah Mithu, President of Give Bangladesh Foundation. Both organizations expressed their shared commitment to fostering long-term transformation and recognizing the potential of every individual, regardless of background.
Centro Tex thanked the Give Bangladesh Foundation for their commitment to social responsibility and for extending an invitation to the organisation to take part in this worthwhile project. Through this collaboration, both organisations want to build a future where everyone in society has access to opportunity, dignity, and hope.
