Lounge has advanced its international ambitions by launching its first store outside the UK at Westfield Centro in Germany.
The company strives to become the “largest and finest underwear brand universally,” providing a range of underwear, apparel, intimates, and swimwear. This ambition is emphasised by their new German retail debut, which comes less than a year after debuting five stores in their home market.
The new store is located in Germany’s largest shopping center, with Westfield Centro being selected as the center for ‘Comfort Made Sexy’ for shoppers across Europe. The store showcases the brand’s popular lingerie, sleepwear, clothing, and swimwear lines, besides new releases and exclusive limited-edition items.
CEO and co-founder Dan Marsden noted, “Germany had previously proven to be their biggest market, marking the launch of a retail space in Oberhausen a natural progression. The brand’s focus has constantly been on presenting the best customer experience, and previous pop-up stores in Germany have displayed that their local community cherishes the in-person shopping experience.”
Stretching 1,454 sq.ft. the new store is planned to be a “calming, luxurious space” with excellent interior design showcasing Lounge’s understated style. Fitting rooms are set with interactive videos to help customers fix their bra size, and fully-trained Fit Experts are accessible for advice on sizing, styling, and fittings.
Lounge, which has been running for nine years, presently runs its webstore in the UK, the US, Europe, and Australia & New Zealand, and also maintains physical stores in London, Leeds, Manchester, and Bristol.
