
Richemont-owned off-price retailer Yoox has announced to launch Yoox Marketplace in Europe, much to the delight of customers there who can now instantly access wider product assortment comprising over 700 brands.
That’s not all! Customers can also easily access more than 150,000 new apparel, footwear and accessories. Yoox already offers wide range of fashion brands and products on its webstore.
The foray into marketplace is seen as a part of retailer’s broader transition to a hybrid operating model that focuses primarily to enhance the customer experience.
Also, the intent is to further bolster relations with brand partners across groups thereby ensuring more flexibility in logistical operations and product assortment.
The marketplace service is available now in around 30 European countries with plans to expand in the US, Middle East and North Africa besides Japan.
Notably, Yoox Marketplace will also include selected sustainable brands that will follow the ‘Good On You’ brand rating system, which informs customers about responsible fashion brands and the products they pick.
