A new outlet of the Indian retail chain Vishal Mega Mart has been launched in the Diphu Town of Assam. The store was inaugurated by Tuliram Ronghang, Chief Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC).
Chairman and Deputy Chairman of KAAC, Horensing Bey and Ritesh Enghi, executive members and officials of Vishal Mega Mart were also present at the launch.
The newly inaugurated store is located on the ground and first floor of Galaxy Cinema Hall. This is the first such outlet of any marketing company in Diphu. People living in the vicinity will now be able to buy of offering of the company ranging from dresses, utensils, food stuffs, cosmetics, home appliances and decorators, kids wear, electronic gadgets, etc.
The company is largely present in Tier II (Patna, Sagar, Itanagar, Varanasi and Bhubaneshwar and many more) and III cities and aims to garner a compound annual growth rate of 40 per cent in the next two to three years.
In the last fiscal, the retailer reported a turnover of Rs. 471 crores. With more than 25+ years of experience, it is one of the fastest growing retail companies in India.
Currently, the company is managing more than 5,20,000 square feet of retail space in the country.
