The Very Group has announced the promotion of its Operations Director Sean Hallows, who will now succeed Phil Hackney as the next COO of the Group.
The renowned British retail group added that Sean will be reporting to the current CEO Henry Birch.
Notably, Phil will be quitting as the COO of the company in April 2022 after having served the Group for six years.
The Group couldn’t have asked anyone better than Sean as Phil’s replacement, considering the former too has been working with the firm for six years, wherein he led all outbound logistics and returns.
Besides, Sean played a significant role in the planning, development and launch of Group’s new automated fulfillment centre Skygate.
In addition to Sean’s promotion as COO, the Group has also appointed Charlotte Heiss as Group General Counsel and Company Secretary.
Charlotte will oversee corporate governance as well as all legal, risk and compliance issues and will join the team in May.
