AEO Inc.’s two signature brands, American Eagle and Aerie, have partnered for their first-ever project.
The limited-edition line, dubbed “A Match Made in Denim,” consists of 34 items that resemble leggings but feel more like denim. Dresses, coats, T-shirts, leggings, men’s knickers, jogging pants, sports bras and intimates are among the items in the collection.
This line makes use of a technique known as “cool transfer,” which transfers the distinctive denim qualities of AE to other fabrics. Furthermore, unique dyeing and washing methods were used to combine the timeless denim aesthetic with a plush, comfy feel.
“A Match Made in Denim combines the best of our iconic American Eagle jeans and the buttery softness that makes our Aerie intimates fan favorites by using the magic of innovative technology,” said Jennifer Foyle, president and executive creative director, AE & Aerie.
