Givenchy has selected Alessandro Valenti as its new CEO with immediate effect, following the exit of Renaud de Lesquen, who is chasing a new direction in his career, as per a statement from the luxury group LVMH.
The company didn’t have to search too much its newest CEO, as it found Alessandro working within Bernard Arnault’s group, exclusively at Louis Vuitton, where he spearheaded the EMEA region.
“Alessandro carries 25 years of international experience to the table. His profound knowledge of the luxury goods industry, with more than a decade at Louis Vuitton, his documented knowledge in retail, and his robust managerial skills will be important in pushing Givenchy to new heights. I would also like to share my gratitude to Renaud for his major contributions to the LVMH Group since joining in 2012, firstly at Christian Dior Couture, then at Christian Dior Parfums, and most lately at Givenchy,” shared Sidney Toledano.
