Agilitas Sports, a platform that offers athleisure and sportswear solutions, has appointed Richard Zartman as its new vice president of footwear design. Zartman, who was also selected to the founding team of the company, will be in charge of footwear design for Agilitas Sports’ assortment of athletic clothing brands.
“As we continue our journey to redefine the sportswear industry, we are thrilled to welcome Richard Zartman to the Agilitas Sports family as the vice president of footwear design,” announced Agilitas Sports’ founder Abhishek Ganguly in a press release.
Zartman has over 20 years of experience in footwear design and specialises in running footwear. The executive has also worked for Brooks Sports and Adidas.
“I am incredibly honoured to join Abhishek and the dynamic team assembled here at Agilitas Sports,” said Zartman.
Nexus Venture Partners has provided Agilitas Sports with Rs 100 crore in capital so that it can expand its business. The company has purchased Mochiko Shoes Private Limited, which produces shoes in India for a number of well-known brands, including Crocs, Decathlon, Adidas, Puma, New Balance, Skechers, Reebok, and Asics.
