
Adidas has appointed Vijay Chauhan as the General Manager of its India operations effective 1st August 2025 while he will be located in the company’s Gurugram office and will lead all business functions in country. Chauhan will take over from Neelendra Singh, who has led the company for over twenty years, but is retiring from the company.
Chauhan comes to Adidas after serving as SVP International at American Eagle Outfitters based out of New York. – He has more than 25 years of experience in various areas of the sporting goods and lifestyle apparel business; he has held several positions of leadership in Adidas including, VP of Retail/Franchise for SEAPAC, and GM of Thailand.
Neelendra is considered responsible for changing the perception of Adidas as a brand in India while helping to shape the cricket business in brand cricket jerseys and enhancing consumer connection with Adidas branded products.
