Burberry continues to shape its leadership team with the appointment of two significant executives. The luxury fashion house announced on Tuesday that Jonathan Kiman has been named Chief Marketing Officer, while Laura Dubin-Wander has been appointed President of Burberry Americas.
Kiman, who brings a wealth of experience from his previous role as CMO at Gucci, will join Burberry’s global marketing team in London starting 9th September. He will be responsible for driving the brand’s marketing strategies worldwide and will report directly to Burberry’s new CEO, Joshua Schulman. Kiman’s extensive background in luxury fashion also includes a role as Chief Brand Officer at Versace.
Dubin-Wander, based in New York City, will lead Burberry’s operations across the Americas. She brings substantial leadership experience, having previously served as CEO of OTB North America and as President of Coach North America. Her career also includes senior positions at Christian Dior Couture and Givenchy.
CEO Joshua Schulman expressed confidence in the new appointments, highlighting Kiman’s expertise in brand revitalization and digital marketing, and describing Dubin-Wander as a dynamic leader with a proven track record of building successful teams.
These appointments mark a new chapter in Burberry’s ongoing evolution, following the leadership changes under CEO Jonathan Akeroyd and creative director Daniel Lee. The brand continues to blend its British heritage with a global perspective, now further supported by American leadership.
