Alex Apparel Group, a leading designer/manufacturer of women’s eveningwear sold under the ALEX EVENINGS, has acquired SL Fashions Group, a leading designer of moderate priced social dresses and separates.
Headquartered in New York City, SL Fashions designs, sources, and distributes branded day and eveningwear dresses and separates sold under the SL, JR Nites, and Ignite brand names. In addition, the company also produces private-label products and is known by its customers for quality, value and reliability. Mitchell Grabow, President, SL, will continue to serve his role and will also take up the position of Executive Vice President – Business Development for Alex Apparel. He underlined that Alex and SL both focus on designing a classic aesthetic, but at non-competing price points.
