Zelia, a budding fashion tech company has announced the launch of its new AI-powered outfit coordination system. This platform offers users an intuitive experience of pre-styled outfits, with the ultimate goal of changing the way individuals curate and refine their personal wardrobes. Scheduled for release in the United States in November 2023, this application is designed to serve as a personal stylist for everyone.
Its new state-of-the-art ML/AI-driven wardrobe predictor caters to the needs of users. Zelia directly addresses the common challenge of selecting the perfect attire for everyday occasions, eliminating the laborious task of photographing each item in one’s wardrobe. The AI interface simplifies user interaction by allowing uploads of clothing collections. Once the inventory is in the system, Zelia provides curated outfit recommendations that remain relevant for any event.
Laura Mattos, the visionary CEO behind Zelia, shared her insights about the platform in statement: “Zelia’s true potential extends beyond mere outfit recommendations, it excels in the art of suggesting outfits based on your existing wardrobe, as well as potential new additions, ensuring the creation of the perfect ensemble.”
Since its initial launch in 2022, Zelia has garnered a highly positive response from its users in Brazil, especially for its user experience and innovative approach. Within just one year, the platform has attracted over 50,000 registered users. Zelia is now in the final stages of preparing its app for a United States audience, with a public release scheduled for November 2023.
With the advent of fashion technology, many other AI start-ups have begun to traipse the alley of styling. Some notable ones and direct competitors to Zelia could be – UK-based Save Your Wardrobe which gives similar personalised outfit recommendations and Seattle-based Mona Labs which serves as a text-based automated shopping assistant.
