Tukatech has announced a new offering to create instant 3D garments to be produced on-demand. The same is now possible with 3D sample making service offered by TUKAweb and TUKAcenters.
TUKAweb will be giving its customers their first 3D job for free, to celebrate the new offering.
Connecting 62 physical locations (TUKAcenters) in the world through TUKAweb and TUKAweb.com web services portal offer a number of services such as pattern making, grading, marker making, custom 3D assets, plotting, amongst many others.
The move has been made seeing the rising popularity and demand of 3D for visualisation, virtual fitting and sampling as the apparel companies worldwide have already planned to include this solution as part of their strategy for 2021 onwards.
However, as Chris Walia, Chief Operating Officer, Tukatech says, a lot of companies have suffered revenue losses due to the widespread pandemic and cost factor becomes a challenge for some of these companies which are looking to invest in a 3D solution.
The newer 3D services, therefore, will allow Tukatech customers to produce 3D assets without being financially burdened.
Resonating the same, Marta Miller, Owner, Lefty Production Co., USA, opined “This offering is a great alternative for those who are dipping their feet into the 3D technology but may not have the resources (staff), or are strapped with cash and don’t want to invest immediately.” She also added that why not use the TUKAweb resources available to do the work and allow the team at Lefty Production to focus on the core competencies…
On the other hand, Jagdish Chawla, Founder of Design Wolf Studio and TUKAcenter in Bengaluru (India) sounded that he has had a number of queries for 3D sample making service since the opening of TUKAcenter.
“These are wonderful collaborations as our team has the TUKA3D system and the know-how, and the customers come up with exciting new concepts. We have the expertise, and no investment is required from the customer,” said Jagdish.
