
Centric 8, the PLM solution from the Silicon Valley-basedCentric Software, has been adopted by Triumph – the leading European intimate’s brand. Centric Software is known for enterprise-class merchandise planning, product development, sourcing, business planning, and quality and collection management solutions for fashion and apparel industry.
Like all other enterprises, Triumph today faces the challenge of increased competition in a tight market. The lingerie retailer and manufacturer had been proactively seeking ways to increase and improve its efficiency. In order to enhance its data flows and development processes, Triumph’s pursuit of the much needed solution included looking for a PLM solution that would simplify development, add structure, remove inefficiencies and increase transparency and clarity.
As a successful global manufacturer of lingerie, underwear, sleepwear and swimwear, Triumph sought a PLM solution that would manage the complexity and scale of their operations. Triumph now plans to implement Centric 8 in the brand, design, and development. and sourcing processes of both its Triumph and Sloggi brands.

Triumph plans to implement Centric’s core PLM solution, Centric 8, across the Sloggi brand first, and then add the Triumph brand in a second phase. The final phase will include the Triumph’s Japan business. Triumph anticipates that the ‘single version of the truth’ concept at the heart of Centric’s PLM solution will help the company to shorten lead times, reduce costs, become more efficient and streamline operations.
“There is a lot of complexity in our design-to-market processes and we are always looking for ways to make things simpler. We chose Centric because their agile approach makes it easy to get people involved, but we don’t have to define everything from the beginning. With changing business processes and responsibilities, it’s important to be able to improve solutions over time. Centric’s solution is flexible and user-friendly,” explains Andreas Salzer, SAP Process Manager at Triumph International.
Founded in 1886 as a little corset factory in Germany, today Triumph is present in 120 countries and its 2014 revenue was approximated to be US $ 1.573billion.
