
Texas-based TKM Studio, which specialises in knitted accessory, has launched a range of knitted face masks made by using Shima Seiki’s WHOLEGARMENT knitting technology.
Available for general public, the step is an effort to help people during these challenging times.
Shima Seiki has been releasing knitting data for mask production for its customers around the world. It has also updated and modified the data several times to meet the needs of the manufacturers.
However, Mike Caird, Owner, TKM Studio, also a skilled Shima Seiki programmer, decided to develop his own data for the production of his own range of masks. The launched collection features comfort and better fit with company’s range of luxury-crafted accessories.
Each mask is made using 100 per cent Egyptian cotton and comes with one PM2.5 activated carbon filters. Manufactured using WHOLEGARMENT 3D knitting technology, its production generates zero waste. It features better fit, soft fitting and secure ear loops.
These masks can be easily re-used and washed by removing the filters of the mask. It is available in different colours like Aqua Blue, Black, Blush, Blue, Yellow, Chocolate, Green Pastel Green, Mustard, Mint, Mellow Yellow, Lavender, Light Denim, Grey, Pink, Purple, Red, Snow, Soft Blue, Soft Beige and Soft Sand.
