German dyeing, bleaching and drying equipment manufacturer, Thies GmbH & Co. KG, has launched its ‘iMaster Mini’ machine for yarn dyeing. The machine can carry out pre-treatment, bleaching, and dyeing processes – as well as efficient rinsing and cleaning processes at varying liquor ratios.
‘iMaster Mini’ comprises of 1 chamber of 730 mm width with nominal capacity of 80 kg which is a fully equipped variation of the manufacturer’s previously launched iMaster H2O machine. It enables smaller production quantities to be handled using the same parameters of iMaster H2O which itself has capacities of between 100 and 2000 kg.

Explaining the features, Thies says that infeed of dyes and chemicals takes place with the aid of the ‘Smart Dose’ system in iMaster Mini. This means dosing of the products can be set precisely to individual requirements and dosing times can be significantly reduced.
Additionally, it enables flexible design of the treatment process and decreases the chemical consumption and the use of textile auxiliaries to a necessary minimum. ‘iMaster Mini’ also offers the possibility to incorporate new fabrics, recipes and processes in the production sequence more effectively and more cost-efficiently.
