T-shirt & Sons, a UK based company providing quality printed clothing, has recently placed an order for Kornit Vulcan system for the second time in a few weeks’ time. The system will be installed in the third quarter of 2018.
Earlier in May this year, the company bought first Kornit Vulcan system so as to offer high-definition prints with vast color range. The company decided to install it for the second time due to smooth installation as well as the quick and fast ROI of the printer.
“The Kornit Vulcan keeps surprising us with its low cost-per-print, consistent ultra-high speed and its quality of print. It is the first printer that runs digitally as well as flexibly prints the one-offs at high speed which is very essential during the peak season. Installing the printer has saved money as well as time,” explains Andy Lunt, Co-Founder of T-shirt & Sons.
T-shirt & Sons has been using over 16 Kornit Avalanche 1000 printers at two locations, UK and Netherlands. Their daily production mounts to 9,000 garments per day whereas during the peak period it amounts to 18,000 garments per day.
The Kornit Vulcan was developed around company’s NeoPigment patented printing process and produces excellent photorealistic quality. It featurs 60 new-generation print-heads with an advanced recirculating ink system in a six-color-plus-white configuration, thus high productivity.
Further, it can print multiple print sizes and can be configured with a maximum print size of 70×100 cm, thus low cost per print.
Eyal Manzoor, Managing Director at Kornit Digital EMEA GmbH, explains the importance of this installation, “T-shirt & Sons is a leading example of how to transition from traditional to digital print by installing the Kornit Vulcan printer.”
Kornit Digital provides complete solutions such as digital printing systems, inks, consumables, software and after-sales support to the apparel industry.
