
Style3D, a prominent Chinese 3D digital solutions provider in the fashion industry, has recently expanded its research team with the addition of two eminent computer scientists, Yin Yang and Chenfanfu Jiang. Their objective is to push the boundaries of 3D simulation and AI technology in the realm of digital fashion. Additionally, this expansion includes the launch of StyleU Lab, now operational in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Yin Yang, an associate professor in the John and Marcia Price College of Engineering at the University of Utah, brings a wealth of expertise, holding a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas. He was recognised with the David E. Daniel Fellowship award during his time there. Chenfanfu Jiang, an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), is also a notable acquisition. He was honoured with the 2018 National Science Foundation (NSF) CRII Award and has an extensive publication record in top international conferences and journals.
With the establishment of StyleU Lab and the infusion of these accomplished computer scientists, Style3D aims to elevate its capabilities, emphasising high-performance real-time physics simulation and generative AI models, effectively bridging the gap between academia and industry.
