Inova Textiles, a Mexico-based textile manufacturer which was established in 2003, has implemented FastReactPlan software – offered by Coats Digital.
The implementation, called FastStart, will help Inova Textiles to combat economic and human effects of COVID-19 in Mexico and mitigate these impacts for a better business approach with digitalisation.
FastReactPlan is expected to significantly improve Inova Textiles’ capacity utilisation and reduce lead time, while enormously bringing down the cost of overall process.
The Mexican firm has 3 units in Estado de México which cover processes right from knitting, finishing, cutting to printing and sewing. The company – with its excellent customer service and fast turnaround – has been able to strengthen its foothold to its export markets USA and Canada where it works with customers such as Walmart, Target and Disney.
FastReactPlan will be implemented at the sewing and cutting lines of Inova Textiles along with the highly visual tools of the FastReactPlan board which will ensure a fast, accurate and detailed order confirmation process as well as production plan.
According to Carlos Aboumrad, CEO, Inova Textiles, FastReactPlan meets almost 100 per cent of the company’s requirements. “We have been ensuring the safety of our people amidst coronavirus crisis. Alongside, we are carefully prioritising initiatives which provide strong foundations for a more efficient, faster and agile business which continues to deliver excellent customer service. We could not afford delaying a project to integrate best practice planning to our business with a digitally connected process,” said Carlos.
