A leading manufacturer and supplier of specialty warp knits to the sportswear, lingerie and workwear manufacturers, Goyal Knitfab has completed the automation of its workflow amid its three divisions of knitting, dyeing and dyed fabric plants through Educe Consulting, a software solutions provider. The Surat-based textile manufacturer has all its divisions working as independent companies and profit centres in order to increase the production efficiency, visibility of order management and production planning across each other, which unfortunately also increases the firm’s paper work and internal order management. After the implementation of the technology, e10x-ERP, the production efficiency of the company has increased as the order management and production planning are now more visible and accessible. The e10x-ERP users can automate reciprocal actions in one division, started by actions in another division, for instance orders taken by sales team get recorded on the system and the knitting division will be informed immediately about the orders automatically and they make sure that no order misses its deadline. With a total implementation and training time of three days, the Goyal Knitfab team was delighted to see such a robust solution delivered within two weeks of a system study. The company’s management highly appreciated the software’s implementation stating that the time to approve the automated inward of material has been drastically reduced to 5 minutes from an hour.
