Epic Group – a leading garment manufacturing group – has deployed Centric Software’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution to reduce time consumption in product development and meet customer demands.
According to Ranjan Mahtani, Chairman of the Epic Group, not all operations (until now) have been streamlined and that’s where the need for a proven solution tossed up.
“E-mail and Excel are used for product development work, and the format of specifications was not unified. There were also parts where the work was duplicated and traceability was not perfect,” informed Ranjan.
To integrate product data, processes and systems, the Epic Group has opted for cloud-based Centric PLM.
By introducing Centric PLM, product information can now be centrally managed in Epic Group and various departments involved in product operations, such as designers, engineers, sample developers, procurement and MD, can collaborate.
“With the 3D Connect feature, we can seamlessly work with existing 3D software,” pointed out Ranjan, adding, “Thanks to the fabric library and data storage, we can reuse product information, which can save us a lot of work time. And we can improve productivity, make it more agile and make better products.”
Chris Groves, CEO and CEO of Centric Software, commented, “We are pleased that Centric can play an important role in the digital transformation of the Epic Group. We will work closely with the innovative company Epic Group, which has high ideals. We look forward to providing support to meet the needs of our customers.”
