Datacolor, a global leader in digital color management technology, will soon be introducing the industry’s first support program specifically designed to address the rigorous demands of measuring the whiteness of UV-enhanced materials for the textiles, paper, and plastics industries. The company is adding a new UV Calibration service option that will be added to the company’s existing ASSURED Support Program and provide accuracy when measuring optically brightened materials, including optimizing the UV output and ensuring pristine sphere condition of Spectrophotometers.
The new UV ASSURED™ Calibration Option will be of great help to customers in the textile, apparel, paper, and plastics industries who use the Datacolor 400, 550, or 600-series reference grade instruments to measure optically brightened materials. “When combined with Datacolor’s ASSURED Support Program, it will virtually guarantee optimum performance and uptime of the Spectrophotometer while reducing costs, saving time, and increasing efficiencies in the overall workflow process,” informed Brian Levey, V-P, Industrial Products, Datacolor.
