Centric Software, the US-based digital transformation solution, has launched the latest version of its Centric 8 PLM version 7.1.
The innovation has been developed in response to the customer feedback and realising the new market need for a more collaborative and efficient system.
The customers will now also be able to personalise the PLM experience as per their needs and convenience. “Giving individual users flexibility to optimise and personalise their workspace in just a few clicks streamlines for even better productivity and improved efficiency while also enhancing user adoption and happiness,” said Ron Watson, VP product at Centric.
Since most of the work is now being done digitally, having an individualised PLM experience would help companies create a more efficient and collaborative work environment.
Centric 8 PLM version 7.1 has launched a redesigned interface for better user experience. It has also reduced visual clutters so that users can have access to information much faster. The interface has new colours that are more eyesight-friendly and also allows the users to choose the colour of their choice.
Moreover, this version has several additional 3D innovations in addition to the already existing 3D features like 3D material viewer, 3D sample review, and integrates 3D designs applications like Browzwear, Optitex and CLO.
The enhanced 3D capabilities will allow users to create new 3D coloured materials directly in PLM without having to switch between the 3D CAD solution and Centric.
Besides, the users can create realistic digital samples for approval and cut down the complexities and cost involved in the development of 3D samples. The users will also have access to photorealistic models for e-commerce and marketing.
Furthermore, the company has also introduced an update to sourcing with multi-category Quick Spec for retailers for expanding its product categories to different markets and regions faster.
Centric 8 PLM enables users to personalise product characteristics quickly and easily to save time when creating their supplier requests.
