Texprocess (Frankfurt), for the first time, will mark an outstanding development in the field of garment making and processing technologies with the Texprocess Fashion Technology Award.
The leading exhibition will take place from 21 to 24 June 2022 in Frankfurt (Germany), parallel to Techtextil and Heimtextil Summer Special.
According to the organisers, the submissions are now open online and the deadline for applications is 25 March 2022.
The Texprocess Innovation Award is said to honour progressive and unconventional new developments, ideas and visions and thus supports the cross-sector dialogue between researchers, the manufacturing industry and users.
The following criteria are evaluated for the Innovation Award: Innovation level, technical quality, digitalisation, economic and ecological quality (such as sustainability), quality improvement, design quality, material selection and the overall concept.
“With the Innovation Award, Texprocess promotes promising and pioneering approaches to textile processing. Companies have the chance to present new developments and creative projects to a top-class international panel of experts,” explained Michael Jänecke, Director Brand Management Technical Textiles & Textile Processing.
An independent international jury will select the best ideas from all the innovations submitted. The winners of the Innovation Award will be presented at a special show at Texprocess 2022 and also virtually in the Digital Extension of Texprocess.
Developments in the field of technical textiles will also be honoured with the Innovation Award at Techtextil 2022, which is taking place concurrently.
It’s worth noting here that more than 1,000 international exhibitors have already registered for Techtextil and Texprocess 2022 Frankfurt edition.
