French luxury fashion house, Yves Saint Laurent or popularly known as Saint Laurent, has been a pioneer in haute couture and prêt-à-porter fashion ever since its inception.
In an effort to celebrate two of its iconic contributions to the world – capelines and jumpsuits – the French ‘maison’ is launching fragrances inspired by these fashion pieces.
Yves Saint Laurent Beauty Le Vestaire des Parfums will now carry two new perfumes in addition to the extensive collection of fragrances that have been inspired by the couturiers creations in the past.
The capeline and jumpsuit are a unique amalgamation of unexpected ingredients, combined to pay homage to the visionary genius of the extraordinaire.
Jumpsuit has opening notes of bergamot and bitter orange seed, followed by sweet magnolia mixed with peony and jasmine absolute over a base of peach, white musk and white sandalwood for a powdery touch, while, capeline is structured around lily and vanilla, with notes of mandarin and bergamot, before revealing a lily accord.
These notes are enhanced with neroli, white musk, orange blossom absolute, ylang-ylang, vetiver essence and most importantly vanilla absolute.
These fragrances are part of the Vestaire des Parfums which carry other iconic design perfumes like Tuxedo, Caban, Caftan, Blouse and Trench, among others.
