
The French luxury fashion label Chanel has now confirmed its return to Los Angeles on 9th May,16 years after Karl Lagerfeld unveiled the 2007–2008 cruise collection there at Santa Monica Airport.
The new 2023–2024 cruise collection from Chanel will be unveiled at an undisclosed location.
92 years after Gabrielle Chanel’s first visit to Los Angeles, when businessman Samuel Goldwyn urged her to come and dress Hollywood stars, the French house stated the event offers “the opportunity for the house to honour its relationship with the City of Angels.”
Chanel is preparing for a highly anticipated opening that was initially scheduled for the end of 2022 in Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive.
The two three-storey buildings at the intersection of Rodeo Drive and Brighton Way, which were bought in 2015, will reopen as one three-storey structure with areas for fashion and jewellery as well as a rooftop for private debuts, press events and the creation of digital content.
