VDMA to organize ‘Technology Meets’ in Vietnam

VDMA Textile Machinery Association, with support from Vietnam Textile & Apparel Association (VITAS), China Textile & Apparel (CTA, Adsale) and Becker Travel Co. Ltd. (Vietnam), is all set to organize two Technology Meets themed “German Technology meets Vietnamese Textile” on July 5 in Hanoi and July 7 in Ho Chi Minh City. Industry professionals from 22 VDMA member companies will be there to talk on practice-oriented technology in sectors like spinning, knitting and weaving, nonwovens, dyeing and finishing.

Companies like Andritz Asselin-Thibeau, Brückner, Erhardt+Leimer, Fong’s Europe, Groz-Beckert, Has Group, Heusch, Mahlo, Mayer & Cie, Karl Mayer, Memminger-Iro, A. Monforts, Oerlikon Barmag, Reiners+Fürst, Reseda Binder, Saurer Accotex, Saurer Texparts, Setex, Textechno, Thies, Trützschler, Welker Spintech and Xetma Vollenweider, will be present at the events.

While these events will focus on current decision-makers from the Vietnamese textile industry as well as international investors, a separate seminar will also be held at the Department of Textile – Garment Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, HCMC – University of Technology on July 8. The seminar will stress on advanced textile, textile technology students and future experts of the industry.

The organizer feels that textile manufacturers of Vietnam, who are aiming for new products, better quality of yarns and fabrics, and improved competitiveness, will get the opportunity to learn more about the latest solutions that are present in the industry at the upcoming events.
