Uzbekistan is keen to attract foreign investors in a bid to promote the textile industry in the country.
The First International Textile Conference of Uzbekistan that begins on 4 September 2018 at Tashkent will focus on creating unique opportunities for creating business in Uzbekistan.
Organised with the support of International Textile Industry Conference, the event will showcase not only the latest trends existing in the textile sector, but also new technologies, digital marketing and issues of certification of textile products for the European market.
The event will also present to the world the scientific research made in developing and promoting “smart” textiles. All these are expected to generate lot of interest among international investors.
The event will also discuss about the current and future prospects of the global textile industry in addition to talking about legal regulation of relations in e-commerce.
It is imperative to note that there are plans to develop the textile industry in Uzbekistan on the model of Bangladesh.
The exhibition will witness participation from many textile enterprises across countries like Germany, China, India, Russia, US, France and Bangladesh among several others.
