Making a mark on home turf, Texprocess Americas was very successful for Tukatech. The company and its IT design solutions attracted many large apparel companies, and with key decision makers a part of the visitation team, actual sales were finalized on the floor of the show for various products. “We were able to meet with many manufacturers, brands, retailers, freelancers, and executives from apparel and other sewn products segments,” said a very satisfied Ram Sareen, President of Tukatech.
Tukatech offers award-winning 2-D and 3-D pattern making, design, and manufacturing software as well as large format inkjet plotters, and automatic cutters and spreaders for production. All of their systems include unlimited training, consulting, process engineering, and implementation oftheir technologies.
At Texprocess Americas, Tukatech exhibited the latest technology for the apparel industry, with a focus on 3D virtual prototyping with real-time motion simulation. The apparel industry is now embracing virtual prototyping, and Tukatech’s TUKA3D – 3D virtual prototyping with real-time motion simulator, was one of the highlights of the exhibition. “The technology allows users to see how a garment looks while it’s moving on the fit model’s body as she walks, jumps, or is in any other motion, with tension mapping showing the tight and loose areas – all in the program while you make adjustments to the pattern and visualize the changes,” informed Sareen.
In addition to the TUKA3D virtual prototyping, Tukatech also exhibited TUKAcad for 2D patterns, SMARTmark for automatic spreading, as well as 2 different models of TUKAjet plotters. Through live demonstrations, the plotters continuously printed patterns and markers showing speed and accuracy to the visitors. “Attendees were pleasantly surprised by the small footprint required by the plotters and by how quiet they were,” concludes Sareen.
