In a quick move, the organisers of CISMA – a leading South Asian sewing technology exhibition – have announced the theme for the next edition that’s scheduled to take place in 2023.
CISMA 2023 will be organised under ‘Intelligent Sewing Tech and Digitalisation Solutions’ theme as revealed by CSMA – China Sewing Manufacturers Association.
The recently-held CISMA 2021 proved to be a platform for companies to display intelligent and automated sewing technologies, particularly automatic adjustment of stitch distance, presser foot pressure, thread tension and material thickness sensing, and grabbed the limelight.
As a global manufacturing base of sewing equipment, China’s products are said to get spread all over the world, as believed by the organisers who claimed, since 2019, China’s export of sewing equipment has surpassed domestic sales!
The next edition in 2023 – the dates are yet to be determined – will provide much better and bigger platform for technology companies to tap greater opportunities of rising demand of Chinese sewing equipment worldwide.
It’s worth noting here that CISMA 2021 edition was organised from 29th July to 1st August 2022 at Ningbo Int’l Conference and Exhibition Center, Ningbo (China) after getting postponed for three times! The show drew curtains with a satisfactory ending as it attracted 22,304 visitors despite Covid-19 restrictions in the country.
