Mid-September edition of Première Vision Paris which had 1,900 exhibitors is being visited by 61,700 visitors from across the world. Almost 74% of the visitors came from Europe while 13 per cent were from Asia. The organizers said, “In addition to this strong, reliable international public, the Première Vision Paris shows also gather a varied attendance, chiefly in terms of size and positioning from independent designers to international groups, including small and medium-sized businesses, from mass-market retailers to luxury labels, as well as medium and high-end fashion and accessories brands.”
The next edition of PV Paris will be held from 16-18 February; meanwhile, the organizers will hold other international events: PV Live in Seoul (12th-13th October) and Shanghai (15th-16th October), PV Istanbul (21st-23rd October), Denim by PV Barcelona (18th-19th November) and PV New York (19th-20th January). The event showed the importance of knit in all sorts of different weights and designs for AW 2016/17 from the garments displayed in Knitwear Solutions, to the fabrics which formed part of the general forums and collections.
