The visitors at Booth #409 of Texprocess Americas witnessed the inaugural demonstration for the audience of the first cloud-connected digital cutting solution (Cutting Room 4.0).
The company’s latest technology provides the furniture and apparel industry with the new possibilities and this made-to-order solution is now available in the commercial market for furniture manufacturers and will be accessible to fashion and apparel sector later this year.
Notably, Lectra announced its Industry 4.0 Cutting Room Solution earlier this month. This new innovation by the French tech giant uses industry 4.0 principles that ease the difficulties faced by manufacturers to meet demands of the consumers.
The new innovation by Lectra provides a combination that helps in transferring data digitally among IT systems and cutting room, a complete cutting line – from loading to off-loading – which helps in achieving enhanced throughput and agility.
Markedly, Lectra claims that if the technology is used effectively, the industry can deliver quality products without committing any errors and this new introduction by the French company can eliminate errors in the manufacturing process.
