District president Johar Tamton will preside over the district convention, which Pattabhiraman will open. The honouree will be MLA Thottathil Raveendran. P.K. Bappu Haji, State Vice President of Kerala Vyapari Vayavasayi Ekopana Samithi, will give the T. Nasarudheen commemorative speech on this special day. The keynote speaker will be Beena Kannan, the state organiser of the KTGA Women’s wing.
According to Tamton, the fair—which is being conducted under the KTGA for the first time—should provide fresh perspectives on the textile and apparel industries. A fundraising for the victims of the Wayanad disaster is being organised by the State committee. He said that a portion of the expo’s earnings would also go towards this goal.
About 100 textile-related producers, distributors, and wholesalers will have booths at the event. According to Tamton, it will be educational for both people working in the fashion business and delegates from all across the State.
