Kingpins, the first-ever boutique trade show focusing on branding in the denim industry, has announced the cancellation of the Miami edition due to lack of (expected) attendance. The show was scheduled to take place from 11-12 January, 2017.
As the show organizers decided to broaden its scope to focus on the Latin American market, this was set to be the first time the event would be hosted in Miami.

In a statement release, Andrew Olah, Founder, Kingpins Show said, “It’s really an unfortunate situation for us to cancel the show, but it would be more unfortunate for us to go and not have a full house,” adding, “We are not finished in our intent on Latin America, but it seems our dates were unsuitable and we have no problem to admit our misunderstanding.”
It may be noted that Kingpins holds bi-annual shows in New York and Amsterdam, and annual shows in Hong Kong and China. These events will not be affected by the cancellation. The first 2017 Kingpins Show will kick off in Amsterdam on April 19.
