International Textile Machinery Association (ITMA), 2023 opened the doors to 1,709 exhibitors from 47 countries on 8th June 2023 at the Fiera Milano Rho venue, Italy under the theme ‘Transforming the world of textile’.
63 per cent of the exhibitors belong from the CEMATEX countries, however, 30 per cent of the exhibitors are a part of ACIMIT (Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers).
The 19th edition of the trade fair is spread over 200,000 square feet of land, and hosts the biggest textile industry exhibition in the post-pandemic era.
The event is housing an in-depth glimpse of upcoming innovation and technology in the industry. Moreover, the event also features solutions on advanced materials, automation and digital future, sustainability, and circularity.
The President of CEMATEX, Mr. Ernesto Maurer, stated, “ITMA continues to be a sought-after platform for textile machinery manufacturers, with this year’s exhibition receiving a 3 per cent increase in net exhibit space compared to ITMA 2019. Interestingly, we also welcomed new exhibitors from Tunisia, Estonia, Ireland, Norway, Ukraine, and as far as Panama, Peru, and Honduras.”
