The autumn edition of Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, a comprehensive platform for the suppliers and buyers in the industry to showcase their supreme apparel fabrics and accessories, will be held from 11th to 13th October, 2016 at Shanghai, China.
The exhibition is expecting over 5,000 exhibitors from more than 25 countries and regions to take part and showcase a wide range of products, in three different segments: the Functional Lab, featuring smart textile and apparel technologies; Beyond Denim, to present the classic denim products, gaining momentum in the market; and All About Sustainability Zone, a section which has high potential due to increasing environmental issues in the industry.

“We were pleasantly surprised by the relative optimism from exhibitors and buyers by the end of the fair. With GDP growth above 6 per cent for the foreseeable future, this still presents many opportunities for overseas suppliers in China,” asserts Wendy Wen, Senior General Manager, Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd., which is co-organising the exhibition.
With its focus on trending textile and apparel technologies, the fair will serve as a platform for exhibitors to meet potential customers, explore new market opportunities and learn about next season’s trends while surveying the local markets and increasing company’s market presence in China.
