
The 11th New Delhi edition of Gartex Texprocess India commenced with a grand opening at the state-of-the-art expo centre, Yashobhoomi, IICC, Dwarka, New Delhi. Chief Guest, Shri Giriraj Singh, Minister of Textiles highlighted FDIs and joint ventures as huge opportunities in the sector.
Over 180 exhibitors are present on the show floor, showcasing over 600 companies from countries such as India, China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, and the USA, as well as showcasing the latest developments in the textile and apparel production business.
Addressing the gathering the Chief Guest, Giriraj Singh,Minister of Textiles, expressed, “I see a very good programme organised with the knowledge sessions, product display and B2B networking opportunities. I thank all the companies associated with garment, machinery, fabrics and denims industry for this.” In his speech, he placed a strong emphasis on fostering joint ventures, foreign direct investment, and cooperative advancement in the textile manufacturing industry among suppliers, producers, and brands. To advance the industry, the Indian government would collaborate with the department of agriculture and textiles. Additionally, he underlined that one important sustainable fabric is “handlooms.”
This edition features a wide range of cutting-edge product introductions from numerous businesses that serve the denim, sewing machine, machinery production, fabrics, trims, accessories, and more industries.

The talks will cover topics like automated laundry, sustainability, denim innovations, and how AI tools can be used to identify denim trends and evaluate the denim lifespan. Professionals will be able to examine their knowledge, practices, and procedures with the aid of these talks, which will provide a wealth of vital insight into jeans.
The three-day trade event, which is being hosted by MEX Exhibitions Pvt Ltd and Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd, will be showcasing innovations and industry trends until 3rd August 2024.
