Bringing together the textile manufacturers and designers from all over the world under one platform, the country’s first International Textile Fair (ITF) to be hosted by Dubai has begun. The ITF is the first dedicated international textile show in the Gulf region and aims to become a major influence on the UAE fashion scene. The fair is supported by Dubai Customs, Emirates airline and the Textile Merchants Group (TEXMAS) which represents 800 wholesale textile traders of Dubai. With a participation of more than 200 exhibitors mainly from India, China, Indonesia, Korea, Japan, Turkey and Europe, the event has attracted a wide range of textile manufacturers and large print designers.
