According to Wendy Wen, Senior General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd., current consumer trends are also favouring overseas suppliers. “Chinese consumers are increasingly demanding high quality and luxury home products, and are paying more attention to stylish and personalised home décor items such as tailor-made digital printing products. This change certainly creates strong potential overseas suppliers of premium and high quality products,” she explained.
As per CCPIT, 2015 domestic bedding sales in China reached US $ 49 billion, an increase of 2.7 per cent compared to 2014. Furthermore, according to figures from 2014, textile products account for around 25 per cent of the total cost of home renovation projects in China.
